My journey to reviving the local craft

It is quite an interesting circumstance that I landed up in reviving and developing the local art Aipan from heading an Engineering college. Having Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and being a veteran of developing and running engineering colleges across North India it is very difficult to think about working on a grass root level where working culture and market scope was quite uncertain or rather unpredictable.

It happened by chance that I started working full time in the field of handicraft after supporting my wife Mamta , Craft Designer, in developing artisans and clusters. The natural beauty, the traditional folk arts and simplicity of life of my native Kumaon always fascinated me. Now it is almost two years in working in this field and I am quite happy with my efforts. Now we have a good numbers of satisfied customers across India and abroad. We are committed to expend this beautiful art of ours to all over the world. With the help of our design and marketing team and group of skilled artisans we are continuously moving towards reaching our Goal.
